London, England, United Kingdom · Product expand job description ↓

Description

As a Digital Merchandiser at Fnatic, you’ll be a key driver of the growth of our Apparel and Merchandise direct-to-consumer offering. You’ll be responsible for optimising sales and margins, through sales planning, range building, forecasting, reviewing and balancing stock and developing strategic promotions.

You’ll also play an important role in providing relevant analysis to stakeholders for decision making about our broader product strategy, and be a conduit between Ecommerce, Finance, Logistics/SCM and Marketing.

Your mission is to:

  • Maintain the Fnatic product portfolio, analysing sales figures, market trends and consumer tastes to anticipate demand and generate a SKU level forecast
  • Develop strong insight gathering to ensure relevant data is captured and generate timely reports
  • Control stock levels against sales and stock intake, balancing maximising best sellers against carrying too much inventory
  • Propose and implement pricing strategy for agreed product ranges, and come up with innovative strategies to boost sales
  • Participate in range planning and make recommendations based on analysis of past performance
  • Work with Supply Chain Manager to ensure relevant information is always available on demand

Requirements

We’re looking for:

  • Proven digital merchandising experience, ideally gained in a predominantly direct-to-consumer fashion retail environment
  • Strong project management skills, able to deliver to deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent planning and analytical ability, with advanced Excel skills
  • Understanding of range planning, sourcing and supplier management
  • Commercial awareness, and demonstrated ability to drive revenue and optimise margins
  • Understanding of customer needs, competitors and market trends
  • Ability to build strong buyer relationships across territories, and gather related insights
  • A confident decision maker, able to rationalise those made with data
  • A process driven working style combined with the flexibility to propose innovations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English, additional languages desirable

Benefits

What we have to offer:

  • Work for the largest and most recognisable brand in one of the most exciting and fastest growing industries
  • The chance to learn from an ambitious and super creative team, and enjoy the buzz of our fast-paced business
  • Award winning office in the heart of Shoreditch in London, with 8 other locations around the world
  • A full stack of tech and gear to perform at the office, in game and just to make you happy!
  • Friends and Family discounts on our products
